It goes without saying that any carpet cleaner should have the correct training. The training isn't necessarily for the 95% of jobs that go without a hitch, its for those 5% where carpet browning, shrinkage, warping, colour migration, off gassing can occur. A fully trained carpet cleaner is trained in looking out for these signs. I have actually turned town carpet cleaning jobs in the past when i felt the risks outweighed the rewards, and on 2 occasions i was proved right when the client chose a cheaper carpet cleaner and ended up having to have the carpet replaced after it was cleaned!

A professional company will also be able to provide low moisture cleaning, generally reserved for commercial properties that require a faster turn around time. This is carried out by rotary machine and more suitable for regular office cleans for example.
